Leonard Rose, commander of the 88th Mission Support Group; Ronny Rexrode, Regional Vice President, Exchange Central; Jermaine Wilson, general manager of the Wright-Patterson Exchange; and Donald Basil, store manager, cut the ribbon at the 7,000-square-foot center during an Oct. 25 ceremony. The Wright-Patterson Center, which is nearly 40 years old and renovated in 2010, does the trick. approximately 100,000 military buyers within a 100-mile radius.

"This project has been in the works for nearly a year and has touched every corner of the mall," said Wilson. "We are thrilled that buyers at Wright-Patterson AFB can finally enjoy all that their iconic bag has to offer."
Military Star Card Strengthens Exchange Benefit For Wright Patt Community
The renovated Central Exchange features an updated BE FIT center with men's and women's sportswear and footwear from brands such as Under Armour, Nike and New Balance. PowerZone features a new TV wall and interactive screen. The fashion store has also been refurbished, with new floors and walls with new light fixtures arriving in mid-November.
"The Army and Air Force Exchange Service is committed to serving combatants, retirees and their families in Wright-Patterson by providing them with the best shopping experience possible," said Wilson. "They've done so much for us - it's been an honor to serve them."
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base provided $1.45 million for exterior renovations, canopy removal, replacement of wooden fences and more. The scholarship contributed the remaining $4.95 million from exchange fees.
In addition to the newly renovated stores, 100 percent of the exchange funds support quality of life programs, including Air Force outdoor recreation programs and more.
